The plant was out in the yard to veg but it's been indoors now just over a couple of week. Is there anything I can get in s spray for the uk... and no he survived I put him out to live another day lol

It looks like she's already started to flower, 

so I definitely would be wary of spraying with an commercially available products. 

 

I wonder if the outdoor guys can recommend something natural like a pepper spray??

At this stage, they won’t do much damage as the resin protects the buds, def no spraying now so either leave alone or pick them off one by one. 🥳

@Shumroom as it happens my only 2 encounters with caterpillars this season I seen one on a leaf and it got flicked away , and few seasons another same situation. 

 

Luckily I've not struggled with pests 6 years in , been lucky.

 

Suffered nute deficiency and lock out though that makes up for it lost a fair few that way.

I was reading an article the other day that was saying that caterpillars have had a terrible year and there numbers are dangerously low 

due to twats spraying there gardens with chemical shite and the wet weather

Pretty much every species of UK butterfly has had a tough year this year. I’ve been photographing them for a couple of years and do the Big Count. 
They were so many more last year, the wet spring was a killer for so many insects this year. 
UK….no.1 for the most depleted wildlife on the planet 😩
