Token it up

Dear herbalist connesseur,

 

I was reading a brilliant post in OG titled something like rolling it up where lot of people from everywhere around the word was displying pictures of how they i

use to roll a joint/spliff/blunt/ et etc...or sysyem like the tomato ketchup or the no filter versions.

Every country has a different way to do it.

Personally I never smoke a blunt in my life or see one. Only Spliff untill recently.

 

How difficult is to change something you are use to.isnt?

Funnily enough I was just about to roll one up. I'll take some pictures while I'm at it.... 

 

I like hemp papers, I normally get the Pure Hemp Unbleached brand, but these where cheaper and seem to be essentially the same thing. 

 

I've recently been converted to the roach cards with the perforations on them. You've got to have good roach material.

 

Wacked a paper in the M board 

 

Realised it wasn't quite fatty o'clock yet so I did the old foldy licky rippy thing. 

 

This little zig-zag thing is well handy. 

 

Trusty old Grasleaf 4 piece. 

 

I find it helps if you grind the weed up first. Wee bit of Hella Jelly this time 

 

Nearly there. Roach on the right, I'm right handed, to me this makes sense, but I find most people disagree with me. Roll it loose then tap it down tight.

 

Finish it off with a little poke. Tighter = smoother, but you also want an even tightness from start to finish. 

 

I forgot to take a picture of the finished article, but this is what it looked like once I realised my mistake .

 

That's how I do things. When I put more weed in I don't cut the paper down.

Maybe start with terminology?   

 

Toke = A puff on a joint, pipe, vape, etc. 

Toking =  Multiple puffs on a joint, pipe, vape, etc.  

 

It's a bit like smoking but the equivalent in Canna-lingo.

There was a member on these boards going by the name of AustrianTokker so all spelling rules are off!

 

I'm curious to know why @Amnesialocalis vaping and smoking? I quit the combustion game in 2015 after a chest infection and cannot physically smoke anything now, not do I want to. To me, that's like wearing a bike helmet on Tuesdays and Thursdays, no helmet all other days.

What always catch my attention is how South american use to smoke often without filter. Weed till the end.

 

Raw doesn't exist from where I am coming from.

Ketchup bottle? For what exactly? I can think of a few things I'd use one for TBH. 

 

I have tried rolling without a roach in the past when I haven't had any, absolutely ruined it for me.

I did hot knives for a few years.. Sometimes wrapping the hash in foil then using the hot knives. Landlords used to hate us for making their cookers look uneven..

I mostly vape but I started rolling up again from time to time. A bit of nostalgia.

I use single skins cause that's more than enough for me.

 

 

I pull the paper for the roach over the edge of the table to make it curve before I roll it. Notice the upside down 'W' for 'Weed'.

 

 

The weed goes in the palm of my hand with the paper on top. That's then flipped to my other hand. The ketchup bottle was to wide to tamp it down so I took the tip and did the shaking thing.

 

 

The spliff goes in the bottle for my next walk. Time to light up the firefly.
