Crow's Canna Curiosities

Crow River

Recommended Posts

I'm starting this diary because I'm growing, or about to grow, strains which are not autos. So they can't really go in the Polytunnel Autoflower diary. I have a separate diary for Dutch Passion Ducksfoot strains, but the new strains won't all be by that breeder. Some will be Ducksfoot, some will be other mutant strains. Also hoping to experiment with crossing different mutant strains to see what happens. Also as the season progresses, some plants will move out of the polytunnel outdoors or into small plastic greenhouses. So the polytunnel diary not quite correct either.

To start with, pics of two girls currently in the polytunnel.

@Crow River  looks good that Freakshow, I hope it turns out to be a nice strain mate 👍

It's a bit of a slow starter, but yeah hopefully it will be good. TBH it's the camouflage aspect I'm most interested in. Thanks for suggesting it. 👍

Cheers, yeah that's the plan. I don't think it's a particularly quick flowering strain so might require some shelter to protect it from the October weather. I will probably take some cuts too, see if I can keep a mum over winter indoors, get a head start on next season...

I love these mutant strains as you may have realised! :) Great for camouflaging a grow hiding in plain sight. 👍

I might possibly even get a chance to chuck some pollen this season too, as I have regs of a Freakshow/Supa Freak cross on their way as I write... ;)

Best of luck bud, this looks like a very interesting strain. Can't wait to see you smash it out the park 💪

Bit of an update on the weird weed.

The Frisian Duck S1 clone has been potted up, and is now putting on a growth spurt. She could root out that new pot fairly quickly. I'll need to decide what size pot to use next, and where she'll go once she gets bigger. May use LST to keep her low once she gets bigger.

The Freak Show is filling out a bit now. Still small, but hopefully the sunshine this week will help her grow. Probably should pot her up soon.

The Freakshow is starting to get a bit taller now, which is a relief as I thought she had stalled slightly. The Frisian Duck S1 clone is really taking off now, potting up doesn't look far off...
