Military Grade Posted Monday at 19:32 Share Posted Monday at 19:32 Tiny bit of trivia The first light-emitting diode (LED), a red light, was developed in 1962(1). However, the first documented use of LEDs for plant growth studies was not until 1988 by NASA for its project investigating space-based plant growth systems, and not until 2000 for the first commercial use of LEDs for plant production in Japan

latigid aikon Posted Monday at 19:36 Author Share Posted Monday at 19:36 @Military GradeI'm surprised it was as early as 1988 TBH, LEDs were really shit until fairly recently, they couldn't make blue light which was the real breakthrough that made LEDs useful for more than tiny panel indicator lamps. @JoolzIt looks like they've recycling it now cars have LED lights Hang on, has anyone actually checked what technology Taycans use? They're probably lasers FFS
