inceywinceyspider Posted Thursday at 11:27 Share Posted Thursday at 11:27 I've been thinking about trying this for some time having been inspired by the work of @OldFord and others. I've always been reluctant since the neighbours hate the smell and the landscape traps it and wafts it in their direction but since it was mentioned in the cobbing thread that Panama has a comparatively low odour I thought I'd give it a whirl, we will see how I get on this year with these two and hopefully gain some kind of knowledge to apply next year. Ok so I took these two cuttings of an Ace Panama regular female and rooted them out in little pots of cheap compost inside an old fridge. I potted them up and kept them on the windowsill I put them out when it was sunny. Eventually I potted them into 2 litre pots and after a bit left them to get on with being outside all the time. The poor things got savaged by the slugs a bit but with some protection attacks have subsided. I potted them up into 7.5 litre pots but only put 5 to 6 litres of soil in, that was maybe 10 days ago and roots are at the drainage holes now. I gave them a dose of biosys. The preflowers looking a bit different. I have been growing the seed plant mum of these indoors under led but not done a very good job this time so its come down at 12 weeks. I need to get this finished by sometime in September or weather conditions will be rotten so going to need to start depping asap. For this I have a shed it's a normal fairly worn out shed, I will prepare it then might take a picture. The plan is to put the plants in the shed in the afternoon/evening, it should be quite spacious for them so I think the main difficulty could be getting them through the door.
OldFord Posted Thursday at 11:36 Share Posted Thursday at 11:36 (edited) Fair play mate Can you dep them where they sit ?? A basic frame with blackout material will work , i even used upturned black bins with breather holes and blackout material. Start with a 48hr darkness period then 12 / 12 mate Only concern would be the lack of airflow within the shed when the nuggets are well on , a fan should work to keep air moving. The very best with it mate and shout if you need anything mate Roll the daylight hours back and finish her on 10hrs and a day or so in the dark.
