latigid aikon
Just now, The Villan said: Yes m8 a one off dose. Given that your water has almost no mag in it I'd give them a small dose in every watering so you fix it before problems start to show.
The Villan
Just found this little snippet. This is a very soft water with low levels of all salts tested for. There is some alkalinity so it should hold a pH after mixing. This water will work with our soft water feed with no need for Cal/Mag but you will need to add a little pH up after mixing food plus water to raise the pH to 6.5 for coco or soil and 5.8 for hydro. Military Grade
18 ÷ 3 = 6 / to work out 3 to 1 ratio number of current calcium. 6 - 1 = 5 / use that number and subtract the Magnesium you already have giving you what needs to be added. Thanks how I calculated it
latigid aikon
It's a bit more complex than that, Epsom Salts is more than just mag so you need to account for the other stuff too. 1 minute ago, The Villan said: what is 5mg per ltr A small pinch of (Epsom) salt

Military Grade
Epsom salt is Magnesium Sulfate, Oxygen and Water I've been winging my dosage all this time and I ain't had mag issues since, I live in a very hard water part of the UK. But if you want to be precise you'd probably be better off getting a bottle of Canna Mono Magnesium and working out what 5mg is in ml Edited June 4 by Military Grade

Boojum
The crystals are fairly large and aren't uniform in size so every time you scoop a spoon out it will have different sized crystals with different amounts of air space between them resulting in different weights I'd imagine.
Shumroom
I'd start with 0.5ml/l of Calmag with every watering How much are you feeding them?(sorry if that's on page 1, I missed it ) Atb
