I added the code on our server but in its usage is just says this <usage name="SeasonalEvent"/> I'm assume this won't spawn them as loot aorund the map, so it has the be these events, are they official server only events?(without manually adding to community servers) I might just edit the code and have them only spawn at Tisy or something Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
btk1977 Posted July 17 Share Posted July 17 @Military Grade don't pay too much attention to the official side of things these days as it's been so long since ive been on a server that's anything like vanilla dayz. Military Grade Posted July 17 Author Share Posted July 17 @btk1977 Fair enough mate When our go to server decided they where gonna close i went and spent some time back on vanilla again and kinda liked it after playing modded for so long it was kinda refreshing, that inspired the direction of the server i opened for my community. Running Expansion mod and some other mods but removed all the traders stuff and added Ai bandits, I see someone has made a Arma Exile sytle mission system for DayZSA but you need to make your own missions yourself, i just don't have the time atm to make some so holding out to see if anyone makes a mission pack for it 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
btk1977 Posted July 17 Share Posted July 17 @Military Grade that is the beauty of the game imo, there are so many different ways it can be run, just server rules alone can completely change the experience and then add mods to the mix and from one server to another is such a different experience. Get the appeal of a community server but close to vanilla, best of both worlds really. I'm starting to get the itch for a change as been on current server for over a year, but got a lot of grind committed so going to stick around at least until the next major wipe (server I'm on does a full wipe once a year and the other wipes you get to carry either money, armour, guns... over so your grind from prior seasons isn't totally lost, they just change up each time what you can carry over) but then might have another crack at the hardcore survival server I was playing on a while back. They're much closer to vanilla, seasons track IRL, no automated traders, PVP allowed but not the focus and there's not too much KOS, just finding a way to get the kit you need to not to starve to death can take a fair few attempts That Arma Exile style mission mod does sound interesting, shame there aren't more hours in the day 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The Green Manalishi Posted July 17 Share Posted July 17 All my gaming now is in VR, picked up Dirt rally 2.0 on steam as it has full support and although I’m playing with an Xbox controller, the experience is sublime, the sense of speed and the feeling that your constantly a fag paper’s breadth away from binning your motor is some heart pounding stuff, sliding through the woods in an old mk2 escort is quality…..can’t seem to get a handle of the 4x4 beasts, I need to hang my arse out 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
