Dave 420
@Stonedjones yes in my experience males tend to grow taller so that they can drop there pollen down over her.
GreengoStarr
I decided the time was now ripe to harvest one of my 3 Strawberry Amnesia X Double Durban, with the other two still at least a week away from ready. Yesterday, I sampled the test bud I clipped earlier in the week and even though it's so fresh, it was amazing and very powerful - @Black Venus, wherever you may be (MIA for quite some time from what I can gather), I thank you from the bottom of my, er, brain ! From the moment she started flowering, the smell of this one reminded of the Indian Spice asa foetida and that scent has stayed with her right up to harvest and is apparent even in the smoke. For those unfamiliar with Latin, asa foetida can translate to stinky armpits, but I think that is a bit harsh. I'm really curious how the smell develops as she cures. First pic up is the remains of the test bud I chopped and sampled. The calyxes are so big and plump that I actually thought they contained seeds! And I really wanted to capture some of her beautiful autumnal colours before chopping. Edited June 24, 2018 by GreengoStarr

Guest Gojitangie
@GreengoStarr Looks lovely, asafoetida or ‘hing’ is a strange one, it’s actually a sap, little goes a long way! Mixed with a little bit of warm mustard oil and rubbed on the stomach, works wonders for griping kids and any gastric issues generally. Use sparingly in cooking though, you’re right stinky armpits is inaccurate but can certainly overpower a dish with anything more than a chip, looks a dead ringer for hash in its solid form. GreengoStarr
This is #2 of my Strawberry Amnesia X Double Durban courtesy of @Black Venus This is a different pheno to the first one I harvested and the next one is a different pheno again, but all three have expressed some purple. I'm so itching to chop this one now, but I'll let it go a few days more. It's currently on day 78 of 13/11 and she started flowering around 71 days ago. The other one still looks like it's got another week to go.

GreengoStarr
Here are the first 3 of 7 of my WWXBB X Chemdawg hacks just harvested. The majority of them bear a strong resemblance to the mother (wwxbb), but I have one girl that leans much more to the Chemdawg, albeit with a very sativa flower structure, and frosty as all fuck and one similar to the wwxbb, but "hairier" and these are still around a week from harvesting. The taller one was chopped at day 63 of flower, whilst the other two, which started flowering a few days later, were chopped first. The rest look like they won't be ready until well after the 70 day mark. These first two were put into flowering at only about 2 weeks old and have surprised me how chunky they got. The top buds of each of them Edited July 2, 2018 by GreengoStarr
