Dinafem-Mark
Great job sy they look great you can see the structure forming with some nice potential budsites . Great job mate! The clone medium I would not keep to wet you want to force the cut to search for feed by throwing out roots. Just damp work well for me Thanks for the picture update very much appreciated. sy100276
@@1lastchance thanks mate, we got there in the end. Oh yes, a valuable lesson was learnt this time round. sy100276
@@Dinafem-Mark cheers my friend, that means a lot. They do seem to be gaining shape, bit excited to see them tonight, as I have not really seen them since the last feed (2 days ago) Back later with some measurements and feed levels........oh and some pickie wickies. Time for some food, although maybe an ice cream. I got a deal at farmfoods, 3 boxes for a pound. Happy days. That's right, middle age has brought a love of bargains with it.
sy100276
Evening friends, hope all is fine and dandy Tonight is the closing stages of day 9 of 12/12, I am guessing that we might be half way through the stretch. This is a good thing as the girls have certainly grown since the switch. With the mother touching 20" from top of soil to top of plant. Her sister comes in a touch shorter at 18". I think when the nutes are changed over to bloom, it might be a wise move to put some canes in for support. Well tonight we had on the menu, 3ml/l ot grow, 5ml/l root stim, 0.5ml/l bio silicon. Both girls took 3 litres each, given in 1l portions (with the usual smoke break between). There was slightly more run off from one than the other, I combined the run off in a jug which gave me a reading of the total run off which was just shy of 500ml,so I was quite happy. After the photoshoot, they were placed back in the tent on a dry tray. That's everything covered from tonight's fun. Oh and I had two knocks on the door today, obviously the door remained closed. No appointment no entry. Edited February 25, 2016 by sy100276
Dinafem-Mark
I would say 10 more days should be done with the stretch then buddage time You can see some nice tops forming and all look very similar . Nice job! All the best and thank you for the picture update very much appreciated. D-M.
sy100276
Evening folks, been a few dark days for me.....but feeling much better but that black dog is a bitch. On a happier note, welcome to day 15 in the flowering regime. Tonight the girls were given slightly more feed this time round, about 3 litres each, with an added dose of OT bloom which has started on 2ml/l. This was given in litre portions, with a rest between doses. Finally I got a run off of 5% maximum. They have certainly grown, with one coming in at 21", and 24". So they have pretty much doubled in height, which is good as my tent is only so tall. . Something happened to make me take the second tent down and loose the clones (explained in other diary). But this gave me a spare 600w ballast,so I swapped the 400, for the 600. Giving me 1200w to play with,I have run the tent on this for the last few days. With temps reaching 83.2f. It is nice this cold spell as it can be cranked up without a problem. I was expecting this never to be an option, so this is a pleasant surprise. On with the show........ stonerwizard
@@sy100276 it actually feels like you're getting somewhere with it all Well it did for me as I had to start all over from seed in a shite tent tent 2.0 is going to be much better although I'm confused what brand and size to buy Wizard
sy100276
@@stonerwizard , I think you might be right (we live in hope) As for tents, I went with a bud box pro as the ducting holes took 8" acoustic ducting. Sturdy enough to take an 8" rhino pro, the light leaks a bit through the zip. But I would recommend them,in fact my other tent is the same brand, just a bit smaller.

sy100276
@@Devcal thanks for the kind words. All things considered, I have really enjoyed this grow, learnt a good lesson along the way though. The ladies are due a feed tomorrow evening, so the plan is to set some canes to give support. Temps last night were 79.4f with 1200w and window open,at the moment temps are 69f-72f with window closed. It has been snowing all day, and has only just stopped. If it has not gone by tomorrow, this chap will be out clearing a few paths for my elderly friend in the morning. Right time for an ice cream and a smoke.
