As thats really how the subbies thing can be used by us who share this passion being able to share the genetics that we make, test and try and to make some good crosses in co-operation To answer some of your questions.. plus add some of my own comments to things you've said ’I know Essex Gold is pretty solid’ Flighty’s creation is known to be good with the rot. But as ive grown it for a few seasons now. Also with it being one of my fav outdoor strains. I will say the Pheno's do stray a bit and not all are as rot proof as you often hear regarding its reputation. In fact some rot out pretty bad. Whereas some are bullet proof. It was never locked fully down it seems and coulda done with more selection and work. I’m not sure which Essex pheno i made the cross with tbh… i’m still working towards making proper selections. Saying that i get a good feeling about it. And like you say your quite confident about the cross you made on your end so i suspect it will be good ‘did you make any more crosses with it?’ well yes all the ones above in this thread. But they were all regs. I’m trying to convert some of those to fems slowly. I did manage to do Rene x GG3 x GG3 x Cheese Burger (C.B being another subbies strain thats a beast quality wise by all accounts).. and hit that with the reverse Essex Fem pollen to. So that answers another of your questions ‘as in fem seeds?’ .. yes these are fems made from a reversed Essex Gold… personally i think the Cheese Burger Cross and the Golosa cross (no fems of that yet, total beast quality tho) both need crossing back to the Rene x GG3 x GG3 to ensure the earliness… as both that Cheese and the Golasa seem like very indoor genetics to me…. this could all be possible… and i will try … as ive managed to rejuvenate the stump from one of the Rene x GG3 x GG3 from that last crop.. if i could reverse it back on them it would be good. I will try. Will see ive got myself stuck into so many little projects now… its almost quite tiring… never ends.. addictive this breeding. The 11 Darts x Rene x GG3 x GG3 was dead nice to. Stump is also rejuvinating currently… i think that would trigger outdoors early enough without crossing back to the Rene cross again…. Will see bro…never count my eggs etc ’did you ever get to sample any of the GG3 x Rene x GG3?’ yes it is banging. That is indoor grown like. Some tasty strong shit. Passes as decent indoor i’d say. But its obvs the outdoor qualities we are most excited about innit. But yea bangin. Kinda sickly sweet stench to it… ’are you sending any in? or have you just got a few for personal?’ I wasnt gonna dude cause yes the later i aint got many at all. In fact the Essex Cross was made somewhat by accident. I Sprayed some other plants i am working on..my P’UEL’ple but the Essex cutting was sharing the same small flower tent. Didnt spray the Essex direct. STS must have rubbed on its branches from a sprayed P’UEL’ple i was reversing when i stuck the P’UEL’ple back in the tent. Later on down the line when the Essex got put in the bigger flower chamber one branch started producing sacks and pollen lol… so i think you can guess the rest. I just used tweezers to get some on the Rene and a few others.. i confess my operations are kinda spontaneous and bodge like lol… really your meant to work on a line. I kind of am with my P’UEL’ple and 11 Darts lines… but god i cant resist from try loads of other stuff all at the same time , like spinning plates.. cant resist so long story short…. I didnt end up with many manybe 20 beans? I’dhave to count…im not sending any of those in. But if you wanted a few i’d spare a few for you and send tbem in.
