Hi guys just a quick question.

How far apart do you lot space your auto's outside? say if you was trying to cram as many into a space as possible. My plans are forever changing and I think now I'm going to do a load of auto's in this one plot at the end of may beginning of june and at the beginning of july start a load of photoperiods and plant these in the auto's places once they've finished and hopefully get a second crop in september october from the photo's and my plan is for these to grow around 3-4ft tall because last year my plants vegged for that long that come the end of the season they where that big n tall and out of control they where getting hard to manage and would have easily of got blown over in strong winds, what do you guys think?

And also with not having an indoor grow space to do some cloning do you think it's possible to start an o.g kush plant now and have it get big enough to take some cuttings by the end of june?

I feel like a right newbie, never taken cuttings before.... well not from cannabis anyway

most Auto pics I've seen they look quite small.. I'd pack em in 1 per square foot, you'll get the best yield that way I reckon. If it's too packed and it's affecting lower buds, cans always part harvest

yeah that's roughly what I was thinking maybe slightly further apart but not too sure, I'm going down my plot today to try visualize em and get an idea on the numbers i'm going to be able to fit there.

beautiful weather this morning, I best get cracking on!

Is amnesia starting to get recognition for being good outdoors now? I see gorilla haze by the new, great team here has the original core cut in it. and some danish strains have it in the lineage as well. And autos by Spanish breeders with amnesia look quality outdoors over here too.

I'm off looking for plots soon after been to gym. This will be my first proper attempt at GG'ing lol I was pretty much a kid when I tried before lol. I'm doing it kind of local and I live in the city lol so wish me luck, suppose you won't get any at all if you don't at least try :). It's a really overgrown piece of land and nobody goes on there. I will get stung and thorned to fuck so guess that's a good sign. I wish I could go out further and do more plots, just trying to make do with what I can really.

Fucksake, so last nights plans went to complete shit. What a total disaster! I had to bail on my mates and make up an excuse as to why I couldn't play 5-a-side football last night (first game I had missed in 4 years), and obviously I wasn't going to tell them that it was because I was doing a big supplies drop off at my plot. Also had to make up excuses to the Mrs and family as to why I was going to be out all evening and night, which they were suspicious of. Anyway, finished work, went home quick and then met up with another member on here who is doing a small grow near to mine (his first outdoor), who also had to bullshit his mrs as she doesn't want him growing:rofl:.

So we get to Homebase - NO bags of farmyard manure, NO bags of compost, NO grow bags and NO wire mesh. I couldn't believe it. Literally everything I had planned on buying had sold out. I was in this store 3 days before and they had hundreds of bags of everything and loads of mesh. I asked an old chap who works there why all their compost and manure was sold out and he informed me that it was because a delivery was supposed to arrive a few days before but was running late, so they didn't have any stock in. He even said "oh we do have some bark chippings if that interests you". Yeah sure mate, I'll just grow my plants using bark chips:rofl:

Fuck it, so we drive to the other side of town to a garden centre, only to find the garden centre shut at 5:30pm, and it was now 7pm. We even drove to the next village over to check a Robert Dyas store, but that also shut at 5:30pm. We then proceed to drive to the next closest homebase about 10 miles away, in the next county over... EXACT SAME ISSUE... no stock because of a "delayed delivery". We literally banged our heads on the front kiosk desk. The time was now 7:40pm which meant we wouldn't have enough time to drive to another Homebase or B&Q as they all shut at 8pm and we'd have to drive quite some distance to get there. Our last bet was a Waitrose store that has an outdoor section. We get there 5 minutes before it is due to shut, only to find that they only have houseplant, acidic and specialist compost, priced at £7 for a 20L bag. No weed friendly compost and way too expensive! At that point we decided to give up and try again in a few days time... so we parked up by the creek, rolled a few blunts from his indoor grown weed and we ended up spending the rest of the evening getting stoned in a carpark and talking about aliens and conspiracy theories.

I have to say that last night did not turn out as expected...

I've also got a quick question to ask. Can I use ashes from a fire that's just burnt dry grass trimmings and other plant matter? Because I usually have a fire using dead fallen tree branches but this has already been burnt so it'd be a shame not to use it on my plot and it's pretty close. I've done a quick google search but all I could find was using composted grass cuttings and not the ashed from grass trimmings. Any info would be greatly appreciated and if not grass cuttings I've got plenty of wood to burn at home.

Cheers, Mo
