It really was gold dust and helped me choose for a very successful 16. We've all had our harvests sitting in the jars long enough to give a real nice report for a poll, and just in time before we all really commit to making our orders for 17. Tell me to bugger off if I've put it right on you Andro , bit presumptuous by any means..... Clean Green Posted January 20, 2017 Share Posted January 20, 2017 Thought I'd share a pic of my underground stash for all you keen ggers that may wish to 'legally' store your harvests. I say legally as this to me provides a way of completely dissociating yourself from your main bulk of buds if placed in a clever location away from home, and as cannabis itself is not illegal - bob's your uncle . So it's a simple setup of a medium size ex food storage barrel and has an aluminium clip around a black lid. The sachets in the jars are oxygen absorbents for long term storage. I think there are 12 or 13 jars in this barrel of various sizes. At the bottom is a sock filled with silica gel to ensure the air surrounding the jars stays nice and dry. Humidity is usually reading 40% in here when I first open it up but this jumps up a bit while the lid is off. Temp seems to stay between 6 and 10c. The main things to ensure is that the seal is good and that the top 10'' or so is above soil level (which is why ive added some bark chips that can be piled over the whole thing before branches and spiky stuff is laid on top. If you do one of these, I'd recommend making sure it's in an extremely secure spot as obviously it could be found by a keen dog, metal detector or other unfortunate ways. Other than that, make sure your buds are properly dry and you won't go too far wrong. Also it's a really nice feeling going for a walk in the lovely countryside and coming home with pockets full of produce.
