If you like Underbelly, theres also a good Aussie series from the 90s called Blue Murder based on true events about Aussie crims and dodgy coppers.

@@Applebed - Did you see the latest series? It changed its name to Fat Tony & Co instead of UnderBelly. It had most of the people from the first series in, but focussed more on Tony Mokbel. Not amazing, but entertaining.

Nice one, i'll look for that now. i liked the Melbourne Carlton Crew, Gangitano, Mick Gatto, Carl Williams stuff the best. I found this weird Melbourne crime forum where there were a couple of insiders putting up info anonymously. Didn't Tony Mokbar go on the run for years? I find Aussie crim culture in general really interesting and some of the coppers are worse than the crims. Roger "The Dodger" Rogerson being one of the worst. ended up doing a cops and crims tour with Chopper. Blue Murder http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Murder_(miniseries) features Rogerson heavily.

@@Applebed - Indeed, Mokbel did go on the run for a few years, which is what the latest series shows.

Sit down for this one mate, it may shock you...

While the series retells the real events of the gangland war, several inaccuracies have been pointed out and some delibrate fictionalizations have been made. The Purana Taskforce, as presented in this series, is not a portrayal of the real Taskforce, as laws in Victoria do not allow real police officers, including those who previously served and were not sacked, to be portrayed by actors in the media. As a result, the characters presented are entirely fictional characters vaguely based on the real officers, leading to some major differences such as the series suggesting that a senior officer died due to a heart attack, which never in fact occurred.

People are recommending Z Nation and The Hundred. Wow how peoples descerment has diminished. Z Nation is worse than The Walking Dead and that takes some doing.

The Hundred is drivel, science fiction apocalypse! The science in this is 5 year old crayon colouring book science, the writing is so poor there isn't a powerful enough adjective to deride it. Have people become so dumb as to accept these non stories. Pathetic.

Z nation's a comedy piss take, at least I hope it is lol and if you watch it with that in mind then it's quite funny, zombies on meth and viagra is meant to be serious? The 100 is actually quite dark if you overlook the shoddy science and the fact it's kinda aimed at a younger audience. Get a grip @@Hir you moody bugger :fish: there really aren't that many decent programmes out there to watch atm. :)

Game of Thrones in April though :pitchfork:

:yinyang:

eta - If you're not watching Gold Rush Alaska then maybe you should give it a go :) here's a taster :ninja:

What does 'decrement' mean ? Never seen Z Nation or The Hundred

Watched a bit of Suits and it's not that bad but I just end up hating all the lawyers , as a profession they are just cunts out to screw people and this is portrayed as a good thing somehow
