~nobody~
Just finished watching Utopia. Enjoyed the first series and the first couple of eps of the second but it went right downhill after that imo.

Boojum
I remember Brushstrokes, with Karl Howman playting a cheekie, chirpy jack-the lad kinda bloke. Mostly I remember it for the awful theme tune by Dexys Midnight Runners.
nl5
Elmo Putney's wine bar In 2004, he featured in the BBC pilot sitcom, Elmo Putney: PI. This Brush Strokes spin off recast accident-prone and dimwitted Putney in the unfamiliar role of private investigator. The pilot was not successful and the series was not commissioned. from wiki

Boojum
Just finished re-watching season 1 of Ray Donovan. I remember it being good, but I hadn't remembered how good. Superb drama, up with the best of American TV drama IMHO. I know John Voight got a Golden Globe for his performance as Mickey, and I'm not saying it wasn't deserved, but it was kinda the most obviously showy role, I think all of the actors/actresses in the main roles were equally good. Dunno if I'm gonna start on season 2 right now, cos in the state I'm in I may not do it justice. Guess it depends how I feel in a few minutes, after I've been for a slash. Boojum
Nice one, was wondering if it's any good myself (I'm a fan of James Spader, when he's good he's very good, I thought he was superb in the little known and rather strange movie Secretary, a film I'm very fond of, it's a kinda sadomasochistic love story), I'll queue it up for later perusal
