The polar bears were brought to the second island by the DHARMA Initiative for electromagnetic experiments, they were kept in the cages Sawyer and Kate were imprisoned in. The experiments involved the wheel ben used to travel off the island. This is why the pretty red head lady finds a polar bear skeleton with a DHARMA collar in the desert during an archaeological dig in a flashback. i11 Posted August 4, 2014 Share Posted August 4, 2014 Utopia is deffo a hidden gem. Other than that I've been watching Deadwood, over half way through and it's getting right boring. Similar feel to Scrubs. The Strain. Vampire/disease action show. I really like it. The Last Ship.
