Was going through my seed stash last night and realise I have way too many myself. Thinking next time I send in seeds for subbies i’ll try and include a few extras with each vial. There's an interesting breeder over in Europe specialising in ducksfoot, parsley leaves, blade shaped, SWAG, variegated colouration, etc. I picked a few of their more affordable beans (all regs) and plan on trying to make some f2s, crosses, s1s, etc. at some point... 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Duckfoot is breed similar to a auto flowering strain so any hybrids you make need taking to F3 at least to become full duckfoot. My short term is to just get a nice fast version available in fem form for people to grow outdoor next season. This will only take me 2 generations to achieve. Also I'm just curious to try it and see... If I can manage to successfully germinate some of my Quackerjack cross then I'll see if any have carried the ducksfoot trait across... I'll also pollinate some of the ducksfoot strains due to be planted out this season. Dan t Posted May 4, 2023 Share Posted May 4, 2023 (edited) Hi all. I've germ tested 10 Cheese Burger f2s. 24 hrs in a glass of h20 then 24 hours in Andrex in a bag. Checked yesterday and 9 out of the 10 are showing or have good taps Ive got 110 to send in. Not many. How many per pack shall I do ? These are not from the Donney Burger pheno. I need to fully test grow the Donney Burger pheno. The mother was a bit faster and not as purple. But tbh it's the one I find myself going to the most. I can't describe the flavours, my friends have mentioned everything from a bit Cheesey , an actual Cheese Burger to sweets to rhubarb, Anyway I'm buzzin to be able to put somthing back in.
