Polarity

this quote (taken from the Korans Mathematics thread):

"I have NEVER felt spiritual when down in the dumps."

requires comment.

spirituality cant be solely defined by any one emotion..or indeed, any amount of words on a page.

it's transcendental. i think the closest you can come to describing the 'feeling' of spirituality, in fewest words possible, is being at one, or at-one-ment.

negativity properly channelled via creativity = at-one-ment

positively transformed negativity has resulted in a lot of our best film, music, art and most importantly growth.

peeps really struggle to see how negativity fits in to the equation but its actually pretty simple. our 3D reality is one of polarity..for a reason. negative or positive, the freedom of choice (albeit within a structure of pre-destiny..bear with me a moment) enables a quicker spiritual evolution, and that, essentially, is what we came here for.

'the source' is utterly indifferent to decisions made either way; 'good/bad' is the illusion necessary to fulfill our evolvement.

ultimately, everything is evolving back to the source, and at this stage of mans evolution (junior high school) polar reality

offers the free will of the soul the ability to choose from the spectrum of positive through negative, in order to determine it's spiritual orientation.

orientation is often quickest determined by what may be percieved from this plane as a negative situation (see: pre destiny), but it is by such tests as these that the degree of selflessness, or selfishness, is identified most readily.

no higher power will interfere in humanity's suffering as doing so would impede mans free will and development.

WE have all it takes to exist in harmony, it's through collective (un)conciousness that we choose not to.

just sayin.

humanity appears to be going through a period of collective autism. it seems we are co-creating a physical portion of hell to find out what we're NOT, helping us on our ultimate journey back to who we really are. negativity should be seen as an opportunity for learning and growth.

a chance for awakening and transformation etc.

the dismissal, denial, and repression of 'bad' thoughts/emotions simply because they are 'bad' is the single biggest contributor to the action-horror movie mode of todays reality. balance has gotta be struck. negative emotions deserve to be processed and expressed as much as any other, not deemed as unspiritual or unhealthy and shoved away only to pop up again as something unrecognisable.

pretty sure theres a symbol for all that around here somewhere....should i just withnail the lot and replace with a yin yang? :yinyang:
