Organic Jim
Shit man, that made me cry! When my mum, (a fairly materialistic normal person of no hippy extraction, apparently a mod) had a stroke a few years ago, she pulled me aside from the rest of the family when she was in convalescence. She told me, in her limited communication capacity, of the 'white light in the tunnel' sensation, and then a white picket fence with her loved, long gone family there waiting. They had folded arms and stern, kind expressions.....then gave her a right shouting and sent her home(!!) saying it's not time yet. Then she woke up in hospital after the failed brain piece was removed. Mum only told me this because, I guess, dad and bro are not the gentle types to understand something like that. She also referred to the experience as 'my sleep' Thanks one and all, Jim Edit;signed my real name! oops!
