I dont really do favourites but that record has to be my favourite hip-hop album.

me too, fecking love 'critical beatdown' and 'give the drummer some' may just be my fav track on it. paul c at his finest.

I recently got an mp3 of 'organized konfusions' promo tape, they were called 'simply too positive mc's' at the time and the demo tape was done by paul c I think.

I watched the paul c documentary last night, bit disappointed in the lack of his music in it but otherwise it was pretty good. some cool storys in it. hip hop from 89 -94 was at its peak imo but it would have been even better if paul c had still been involved.

Never seen ODB looking so much like 'Samson' in Half Baked - wonder if there was any inspiration for Dave Chapelle here?

Shame the doc didnt have much music in it, it was definitely made on the cheap altho with a lot of love for its subject. Pretty much a collection of talking heads but i'm a sucker for all that back in the day shit. Especially liked seeing Breakbeat Lou otherwise known as Louis Flores, the man behing the Ultimate Breaks And Beats albums- another unsung hero and a massive influence on the development of hip hop. Geezer had and probably still has the best collection of original breakbeat vinyl around.

nice tracks applebed. I long for a new biz markie album, its been far too long.

unless ive missed something bumpy knuckles is still alive and rapping.

ive been enjoying that despot fella that pops up with el-p now and again, im really liking the hardwood blacktop presents despot album, dunno if its an official album or a collection of his appearances but either way its good. I like the raw feel to some of the tracks.

and an old school one for @@Applebed. have you seen the freshco and miz documentary mate? its worth a watch, its on youtube, the 'freshco and miz' story. not exactly an underrated group cause they were definitely recognised, they just never made it.
