Inspiration101
Greetings all. I would like to share with you my current grow tent and its contents..............in picture format Following the same style as my previous grows I shall be using my standard setup: 1000w dimmable ballast with blue bulb for veg and red bulb for flowering, 6" Rhino extraction with Rhino Pro Carbon Filter, 2 x 6" clip on fans, Canna Terra Pro Soil, Plagron Worm Humus, Plagron Batmix, Vermiculite, Perlite, 11 litre square pots. Nutrients being used are PM Root Hormone, PM Bio Silicone, Biobizz fishmix (last of it is gone now), Biobizz bio grow. I will start using the full PM range of OT products as won $100 of stuff in the christmas competition for coming up with a lame joke : What did the big chimney say to the little chimney ? You're too young to smoke. Easy nutrients ! Thanks Plant Magic - Will use all their stuff on this grow and the following ones now I have a complete mix up of a tent, total novice fun, complete hobby enjoyment. Currently I have 4 x Sleestack x Skunk freebie seeds, 1 x Old Smile subscription seed (plus 2 cuttings of it rooting), 3 x Devil Cream and 2 x Sweet Cheese. For this diary, I will be concentrating on the Sweet Seeds Devil Cream and Sweet Cheese that are taking off nicely. They won't be getting a perfect run though as I need to put the photo period plants into flower soon so thinking maybe another week of 18/6 and then its on to 12/12. Not ideal for these Autos I know but it is the way things have to be. Lets see how well things turn out ! Popping the seeds was a nightmare for me, although I put them all in water at the same time the difference from when they popped through the soil and started their journey is quite big, makes for a staggered crop so all is good. I blame this purely on my seed popping skills, not enough humidity for long enough me thinks. All of the seeds popped, 3 of each Devil Cream & Sweet Cheese but one Cheese got stuck in its shell and my fumbling hands damaged the baby seedling trying to pry the shell casing off.....nevermind, a shame but I will survive....as a bonus one of the Sweet Cheese's has a double head..... can't believe I got a double yolker...... is this kind of thing genetic ? I harvested some super skunk auto pollen a few weeks back so am considering using some to pollenate this double yolker to find out ! Here is a load of pics..... all advice welcomed, the Sweet Cheese will be going into full size pots this weekend and I will be rearranging the tent to ready things for the switch to 12/12. Inspiration101
Weekly update. All going fine. Big changes now. Bulb has been changed to the Philips 1000w Son T Plus to begin the flowering phase. Timer is being moved to 12/12 also, lights being on during the evening and off during the day. I have started adding some PM Magne/Cal to the feed. Just done a massive session of a heavy watering of all plants and re-setup the tent. Re-potted some Sleestack just now having purchased some more Canna Terra Pro soil, vermiculite and perlite. Devil Cream (2) has grown up really fast and caught up with Devil Cream (1), so much so it may as well appear 9 days older than it really is. The Sweet Cheese's are now starting to let off a nice pungent and sweet smell, loving moving them around and catching a quick whiff of it One of my 6" clip fans has failed, will have to get a new one, just one in the tent at the moment. Photos below, hope the Devil Cream & Sweet Cheese don't mind being flipped to 12/12 too much ! Inspiration101
Weekly update. Devil Cream (1) has been ill ever since watering last week, definitely overwatered. I noticed the leaves turn unhealthy looking and the soil not drying out like the plant has stopped drinking so the past two days I have taken her out of the tent at darkness time and put in the window near a radiator to help dry out the pot and hopefully get her to pick up and continue growing again. Devil Cream (2) is still reaching for the stars, by far the tallest of all plants now, sooner of later she will have to stop stretching and fatten up, but for now she can continue. Devil Cream (3) is doing just fine, nice and healthy. Sweet Cheese (1) and (2) are going well also, nice pungent whiffs of sweetness whenever I move them...........I find myself anticipating what she will taste like because of her smell. Nothing really to say other than just trying to keep as ideal an environment as possible especially as the auto's have not been on a 12/12 lighting schedule. Until next week ! New phone camera is not very good, will switch phones for next update I think. Sweet Seeds -Jaypp
Looking fine fella, maybe you can make some LST to keep the tall more similar to the other plants. Thanks for updating, good luck! jaypp
Inspiration101
Weekly update. All is going well. The sick Devil Cream is producing buds and slowly fattening up. Sweet Cheese (1) looks so good I pollenated her with some super skunk (auto) pollen two days ago - Got a rogue male auto from sensi seeds last month. I must say the sweet cheese really does seem to be my favourite for looks, smell and just all round efficient awesomeness - Can't wait for the smoke test. Pics below !
