muffintop
As more and more of us seem to be taking up this style of growing, I thought it would be a good idea to create this thread as a place to share ideas on what is working for them. Credit to Road Runner who made me get up off my arse and try it. SkyRider
Just starting down this route myself... Got any IPM formulas to share? That was going to be the first thing I start with. Found a nice one on buildasoil that uses neem oil, Potassium Silicate, Aloe Vera powder and peppermint/lavender liquid soap. Just about to order the bits for it all and give it a try on my current plants.

Fragg
@@muffintop Great idea getting this on the go. Just a quick post of my experience using leaf mold as a mulch....be v careful how much u use I overdid it and it basically prevented top watering working well. It was a good theory i.e replicating nature and can be picked up all over the place at this time of year all nicely rotted, if you havent collected them yourself. On the upside I found the worms love it and it you go collecting rotted leaves u will find worms under them munching away. So if thinking of using leaf mold do but either bottom water or go easy on how much u use
muffintop
No worries, the leaves I will be using will be from the current growing plants. Edited March 27, 2016 by muffintop
