grobag Posted March 19, 2007 Share Posted March 19, 2007 Im yet to smoke anything comparable to es! The esbhaze me and bish grow is nicer weed than straight esb imho, tho' ot doesnt really rate it. So horses for courses.. I've not yet had the pleasure of ES. But if the ESBHaze is anything to go by, I find it's one of those things where you have to try lesser strains before you can really appreciate the good'uns. Out of half a dozen or so, the ES and (and to a lesser extent....) ESB were a totally different experience in both taste and high to the other mainly dutch offerings. Even the much lauded UK cheese wasn't a patch on them. I made a series of experimental crosses last year Lot#1 to #8, and I sent them to a few friends to test and evaluate, of them Lot#5 did the best, what is in it is my secret, I can say none of the genetics come from Dutch stock lines and they are very Sat dominant and totally unrelated to es or esb. What I will not guarantee is germination, uniformity or that there would not be the odd hermy, every one who tested #5 for me found a pheno that they reckon they will keep for life, as a general comment about #5 all are a nice smoke but there are few to be found and I mean a few absolutly stunning plants that can knock your socks off, will you get one? Its down to chance. Some people who smoke tested selected #5 bud think it is up there = with es, personally I don’t! I will give Jools 200 seeds from the cold store, how he splits them and what he charges is down to him, they can make some money for uk420. Is it just the Lot 5 seeds that will be put up for sale or are you considering letting some of the others out in the near future?
