Well done @ratdogIt's great when something just comes together or makes more sense than it did. I haven't a clue about theory, just following tabs ,but hopefully I'll get my thinking cap on, and sign up for some online lessons. @mmmm...nice! I can now tell you how the Sire M.Miller bass feels, and the stupid expensive Warwick my buddy has. Comparing the two is like trying to cast a fly with an old split cane rod, and then switching to a 2.5 ounce fly rod from Hardy or Sage, far easier to use. The Sire bass weighs too much and the neck is falling downward of its own accord. T'wasn't a pun. It hasn't been set up ,and the action is tough. I've gotten used to it, but I still can't play for sh1t! I'm bored with just the precision pick up,it'll do because I'm a beginner. The Warwick model was a doddle pressing strings. I'm looking at buying one of the cheaper Warwicks built in Indonesia or Korea, a streamer NT ,but still a tad pricey for me, around 1000 euro. A Cort GB4 modern, a little more expensive. If Brexit never happened I'd buy one now , because there's two stores in the UK with a sale on the Cort. A Danelectro DC is also tickling my fancy,cheaper too. It's made from hardboard but the electronics are decent. Still, the price reflects the quality for in or around 1000 quid.
